<p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Retiro de un dia segundo sabado cada mes</span></p>
<p><strong><strong><strong>SEA USTED un meditador principiante o con experiencia, </strong>este retiro le apoyará para</strong></strong>examinar sistemáticamente la manera en que su mente trabaja, profundizar su experiencia de la meditación, y cultivar mayor sabiduría, compasión y conciencia.  Usted no necesita considerarse un budista para obtener beneficio de este tiempo concentrado de conocer mejor su propia mente.</p>
<p><strong>El retiro incluye meditación Vipassana (atención consciente), la práctica de Metta,(amabilidad cariñosa) y Ceremonias de Temazcal (Inipi). </strong>El horario diario consiste de períodos que alternan entre meditación sentada y meditación ambulatoria, yoga diario, charlas dharma, y  reuniones individuales con los profesores.  Todos los participantes observan Silencio Noble durante el programa.</p>
<p><strong>Cuando la atención plena se aplica a la experiencia ordinaria, la verdadera naturaleza de uno mismo se realiza, lo que resulta en la disminución del dolor y una mayor satisfacción con la vida.</strong> Las técnicas de meditación que se enseñan son de la tradición budista Vipassana con énfasis en la idea de la impermanencia.  Estas técnicas ayudar a las personas que sufren de fobias y del dolor crónico.</p>
<p><strong>La ceremonia Temazcal del Camino Espiritual de los nativos americanos, Camino Rojo</strong> también es parte de la práctica espiritual del Centro. El Albergue de Sudación, originalmente llamado Inipi en Lakota y Temazcal en Español, es una ceremonia de purificación que nos vuelve a conectar a los cinco elementos básicos &#8211; tierra, viento, fuego, agua y espacio, dando lugar a una mayor cuidado de la Madre Tierra.</p>

<p><strong>WHETHER YOU ARE a beginning or experienced meditator, </strong>this retreat will support you to systematically examine the workings of your mind, deepen your experience of meditation, and cultivate greater wisdom, compassion and awareness. You do not need to call yourself a Buddhist to benefit from immersing yourself in this concentrated time of getting to know your own mind.</p>
<p><strong>The retreat includes Vipassana  (mindfulness) meditation, the practice of lovingkindness (Metta) and Sweat lodge ceremonies (Inipi).</strong> The daily schedule consists of alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation, daily yoga, dharma talks, as well as individual meetings with the teachers. All participants observe Noble Silence throughout the program.</p>
<p><strong>When Mindfulness is applied to ordinary experience, the true nature of oneself is realized, resulting in diminished suffering and an increased satisfaction with life.</strong> The meditation techniques taught are from the Buddhist Vipassana tradition and emphasize insight into impermanence. These techniques have successfully been used to help people suffering from phobias and chronic pain.</p>
<p><strong>The Native American (Red Road) Sweat Lodge Ceremony</strong> is also part of the center&#8217;s spiritual practice. Sweat Lodge, originally called Inipi in Lakota and Temazcal in Spanish, is a purification ceremony that reconnects us to the five basic elements &#8211; earth, wind, fire, water and space &#8211; resulting in an increase caring for Mother Earth.</p>

<p>2nd Saturday of each month, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sweat Lodge, 6:00 to 9:00 pm</p>
<p>Held in Noble Silence. Suggested donation is $25.00, but any donation will be accepted.</p>
<p>The retreat is open to all, and no one will be turned away who can&#8217;t afford a donation.</p>
<p>Sweat lodge suggested donation: $5.00. No alcohol, drugs or nudity. Tradition doesn’t permit women during their moon time.</p>
<p><strong>The teachings are offered by the teachers on a Dana or donation basis.</strong> The word “dana” translates into a heartfelt gift.</p>
